MASSIVE ATTACK Members: 3D" Del Naja Grant "Daddy G" Marshal Andy "Mushroom" The band originated from Bristol and feature a combination of dark rhythms, reverb-laden guitars with atmospheric samples, this helped pioneer the laidback sound of trip-hop. The bands history dates back to 1983. However, they were previously known as the wild bunch and not all members of the current band were featured back then. The wild bunch were one of the most successful sound system and DJ collectives in the UK to arrive in the music scene. The were commonly known for their intelligent use of seamless integration of different music styles collected from their inherited roots, from punk to reggae to R&B the group's parties quickly became can't-miss events for the Bristol club crowd. This makes her breasts prominent when wearing this outfit due to the sheerness of the material. However this outfit may not be sexual it could be considered as a fashion statement for example it could be suggesting that people should not sexualise features of a females body such as breasts. The audience can also see her nipple piercings which could be described as explicit to some people. Representations of teenagers in the mail 'Teenagers' pea-sized brains'- Mail Online This article initially features negative phrases relating to teenagers such as: 'everyone knows teenagers are impossible' which portrays ALL teens in a general category, in a negative light however, as the article continues it expands on these negative terms and excuses a lot of negative teenage behaviour due to physiology of teens' brains. However this article is also controversial as it does refer to teens using negative language yet also excuses it for the reasons previously mentioned. For example it says that teens are 'lazy slobs' however it claims that the reason behind this is that 'it is a brain thing'. So overall it represents teens negatively but excuses this behaviour.
