This newspaper displays the 2017 election results at the bottom of the page. the whole cover focuses on this article as it was the main story of the day.
Contrast of images: Theresa May is captured in a bleak and grey colour scheme, standing in front of 10 downing street, the image itself is comically captured to degrade her femininity by making her look less attractive, un-quaffed hair and open mouth expression on her face which makes her seem more informal.
This is highly contrasting to the brightly edited image of Jeremy Corbyn looking positive, with a happy expression on his face as well as a proudly raised hand gesture. He is wearing the branded red colours of his labour party along with a white shirt which compliments the red and white theme of the Daily Mirror logo colour scheme. there is also an illustration of a ballot paper box which is cohesive with the overall theme of elections
 it is highly ironic because despite the Conservatives winning the election by a slim majority she looks negative and pessimistic which also

Statement of intent draft 1 Media Language The intention of my productions for my coursework will be to produce a realistic Dance music video featuring the song 'Summer' By Calvin Harris. as well as a cohesive website for the dance Dj that i have created.
